For Reviewers
As part of the promotion of open science, Journal of Intelligent Machinery and Equipment strictly adhere to peer review process. All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Intelligent Machinery and Equipment are reviewed by one or more people with similar research area to carry out the quality assessment of a manuscript before it is published. Independent researchers in the relevant research area assess submitted manuscripts for originality, validity and significance to help editors determine whether a manuscript should be published in this journal.
The reviewers play a key role of in ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record. Every reviewer is vital and bears a great responsibility and is expected to perform manuscript evaluation in a timely, transparent, and ethical manner, following the COPE guidelines https://publicationethics.org/files/cope-ethical-guidelines-peer-reviewers-v2_0.pdf.
Journal of Intelligent Machinery and Equipment looks to reviewers to help us ensure the following in a submitted paper.
1. Demonstration of novel theoretical contributions or significant technical innovation in subfields such as intelligent control, digital twin, machine learning, intelligent perception, edge computing, or emerging intelligent equipment technologies, with clear articulation of engineering implications and potential for real-world implementation in fields like water conservancy, energy, transportation, and manufacturing;
2. Cross-disciplinary relevance that stimulates discourse across mechanical engineering, control science, information technology, systems engineering specialties (e.g., intelligent equipment design, digital twin for engineering systems, edge computing in manufacturing) and provides actionable insights for both academic researchers and industry practitioners;
3. The data reproducibility;
4. Soundness of conclusions.
