Through the research, this paper concludes that generative AI has been integrated into and influenced the news production process in aspects such as news leads, news gathering, content production, and channel dissemination; under the human-machine collaboration mechanism, journalists can make good use of generative AI to enhance the quality of news works; the integration of generative AI into news production can bring positive impacts to the development of the news industry; and generative AI can positively affect the core functions of journalists in the news industry. This paper analyzes and summarizes the structural reshaping and current interactive status of generative AI in news production by studying the adaptation of mainstream media and some media industry workers to the introduction of generative AI into news production.
