Research on the Construction of Characteristic Curriculum Systems in Local Universities under the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative

Abstract

Education, science and technology, talents are the basic and strategic support for comprehensively building a modern socialist country. As China implements a more proactive opening-up strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative is further developed, the demand for high-level talents familiar with the countries along the Belt and Road is also gradually rising. China’s institutions of higher learning should actively connect with the national strategic needs, actively explore the characteristics of the curriculum system to meet the national needs, further boost local social and economic development, and train qualified socialist builders and successors to meet the national strategic needs.
