Research on the innovative teaching model of ideological and political integration into primary school English teacher courses

Abstract

This article takes the fundamental task of “cultivating morality and cultivating people” in the new era as the perspective, focuses on the development path of the deep integration of primary school English course teaching and ideological and political education, solves the problem of “focusing on language skills training and neglecting value leadership” in conventional teaching in the past, and provides reference for the effective development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and the cultivation of teaching skills and abilities of teacher students.Therefore, based on the integration of production and education, and combined with the theory of POA (output model teaching method) and PAD (flipped classroom), the author designed a hybrid teaching model composed of “online-offline-practice” and constructed a “three-line” teaching goal integrating “language ability + teaching skills + ideological and political theoretical literacy”.Then, based on students’ learning situation and difficulty diagnosis, different teaching strategies such as “theme-driven” design, cultural comparison, interdisciplinary comprehensive projects are realized in the teaching course, and combined with the elements of ideological and political courses, they are integrated into the teaching of language knowledge and the practical application of teaching design in the course.In addition, the use of the CIPP model as an evaluation method for hybrid teaching is conducive to the implementation of “time-divided” evaluation of classroom teaching process, etc., so as to give full play to the comprehensive evaluation in the classroom teaching process.Practical results show that this teaching model can effectively help students improve their teaching plan design ability, improve their language awareness and cultural awareness, and through feedback from cooperative primary schools, it is found that the interns’ ideological and political integration ability in classroom teaching has been improved.The research results confirm that the “PAD+POA” hybrid model can synchronize language ability, teaching skills with educational goals, achieve the goal of coordinated development, and have a method demonstration effect.
