Analysis of the Path for Cluster Construction of Scientific and Technological Journals Based on the Excellent Plan of Action

Abstract

As an important carrier to display research results, science and technology journals have important functions and missions to disseminate scientific and technological achievements. The implementation of the “China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan” has selected pilot projects of science and technology journal clustering, which has promoted the vigorous development of journal clusters in different subject areas. This paper analyzes the existing models and achievements of the five pilot clusters in content construction, communication service system, operation mechanism, talent team and other aspects. In order to promote the high quality development of China’s science and technology journal clusters, it is proposed to build a digital publishing platform, construct a new ecology of cluster communication with the deep integration of media, help the sustainable development of clusters with the cooperation of government, industry, university, research and finance, and build a professional talent team through the multi-dimensional collaboration of “selection – education – use – evaluation”.
