A Comparative Study of Short Video Digital News Platforms from the Perspective of Affordance — Based on Douyin and China Media Group Mobile

Abstract

In the digital age, with the empowerment of technical conditions, the production and delivery methods of digital news have changed rapidly, especially the short video platform, which has gradually become the main way of information transmission by virtue of its advantages. The affordance of short video platform has also injected new emotional orientation and potential into news production and circulation, creating a broader space and framework for this field.
