Multimodal AI Teaching Assistants: A Study on the New Paradigm for College English Teaching

Abstract

This article explores the way of optimizing conventional teaching paradigms by tracing the development of the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with multimodal teaching of College English. The study argues that by adhering to a tripartite symbiotic model of “teacher–Multimodal AI Teaching Assistant–student”, AI applications and generative large models could act as teaching assistants to improve the multimodal College English teaching process.
