Abstract

As society develops and progresses, the status of vocational education in China has become increasingly prominent, with art education holding equally important importance beyond traditional professional knowledge and skills. Chengdu Art Vocational University focuses on preserving traditional culture while cultivating high-level skilled artists with an international perspective and innovative awareness. It pioneered popular dance courses at the forefront of the times 17 years ago. By deeply analyzing the current state of the course, existing issues in teaching, and the value of talent cultivation in future development, we aim to contribute a small effort to the curriculum construction and development of vocational colleges in China.
