Exploration of the Path of Integrating Red Culture into Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities in the “Asking the Canal” Practical Activity

Abstract

: In the context of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the Party Central Committee attaches great importance to red culture and calls on all sectors to actively promote it. As a distinctive culture characterized by revolution and advancement, the integration of red culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities helps guide college students to firm their political stands, enrich teaching resources for ideological and political education, expand teaching forms of ideological and political education, and inherit and promote the red spirit. It serves as a valuable resource for colleges and universities to carry out education on ideals and beliefs, patriotism, and socialist core values among college students. This paper focuses on the practical activities of “Wenqu” (Asking for the Source) conducted by Nanchang Institute of Technology. By outlining the connotation of the “Wenqu” practical activities and the red cultural resources contained in the “Wenqu” project, it delves into the effective paths for integrating red culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities through the “Wenqu” practical activities. Furthermore, it elaborates on the insights gained from this integration, providing a reference example for the innovation of integrating red culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities, promoting the organic integration of red culture and ideological and political education, and effectively enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
