Abstract

This case uses the core course “Primary School English Curriculum and Teaching” as the background, and constructs and practices an immersive teaching and training system, aiming to improve students’ sense of presence and teaching ability. The study selected third-year primary school education students in our school for immersive teaching training. It showed that immersive teaching significantly improved students’ knowledge mastery, teaching practice ability and learning interest, and enhanced their perceptual immersion, cognitive immersion and emotional immersion. Teachers’ abilities in situation creation, interactive organization and teaching feedback have also been significantly improved. Although some students have slight difficulties in adapting to the equipment in the initial stage, immersive teaching has shown strong application potential through optimized content design and increased training.
