Research on the Aesthetic Education Function and Implementation Strategies of Higher Calligraphy Education

Abstract

The core of aesthetic education lies in cultivating people’s comprehensive literacy in recognizing beauty,experiencing beauty,appreciating beauty,and even creating beauty.Based on the era background of the cultural confidence strategy and the popularization of aesthetic education,this paper focuses on the aesthetic education functions and implementation strategies of higher calligraphy education,and conducts research using a multidisciplinary interdisciplinary approach.At the theoretical level,the paper analyzes the essential characteristics of higher calligraphy education,namely”professionalism,cultural nature,aesthetic nature,and practicality”,and clarifies that it possesses four core aesthetic education functions:cultivating aesthetic perception,shaping aesthetic judgment,stimulating aesthetic creation,and fostering cultural identity and personality.Ultimately,it provides a theoretical reference and practical path for realizing the transformation of higher calligraphy education from”teaching techniques”to”educating people with beauty and cultivating people with culture”.
